Tears

A midsummer breeze blows
Warm, playful and teasing the tight buds to bloom
And lightly touches your cheek
Like some long forgotten lover's kiss
Tentative and invoking wistful memories of summers long ago
And leaves you with an ache
And an unbidden tear.
